Mark walked past Lily and Eleanor out into the bright foyer.
He carried the heavy leather binder securely under his right arm.
Sarah followed right behind him, holding onto his suit coat.
The wedding guests were still sitting under the green garden tent.
Soft violin music played softly through the warm afternoon summer air.
Mark walked straight toward his uncle David near the flower arch.
Uncle David was an experienced lawyer who worked in the city.
He looked up from his seat with a friendly wide smile.
David: Is it time for the ceremony to begin, Mark?
Mark: Uncle David, I need you to look at these documents.
David took the legal binder and opened the thick cover.
He put on his reading glasses and scanned the white pages.
His smiling face slowly turned serious and very strict looking.
He looked over his glasses at Lily and her mother.
They had followed Mark outside into the bright sunlight lawn.
David: Where did you find these original signed property deeds, Mark?
Mark: Sarah found them hidden inside the house attic safe.
David: This property was placed in a protected family trust fund.
David: Nobody could legally sell or transfer it without Sarah's consent.
Eleanor stepped forward with a loud sharp click of heels.
Eleanor: We paid off the old back taxes on this property!
David: Paying taxes does not make you the legal title owner!
The surrounding wedding guests began to whisper among themselves quietly.
People stood up from their white folding chairs to watch.
Lily's father, Richard, rushed over from the refreshment table area.
He wore an expensive tux and looked very nervous now.
Richard: Eleanor, what is happening out here right now?
Eleanor: They found the old trust documents inside the safe!
Richard lowered his head and rubbed his forehead with force.
Richard: I told you this plan would fail eventually, Eleanor!
Mark: You all knew about this secret fraud scheme together!
Lily: Mark, I did not know everything my mother planned!
Mark: But you kept me locked away from the truth!
Mark: You even locked my sister inside a dark quiet room!
The wedding guests gasped loudly when they heard Mark's words.
Several family friends pulled out their mobile phones to record.
Mark took off his white flower boutonniere from his suit jacket.
He dropped the small white flower directly onto the grass floor.
Mark: This wedding is over right now, effective immediately today!
Lily: Mark, please do not cancel our special wedding day!
Mark: You tried to steal my family inheritance through marriage deceit!
Eleanor grabbed Richard's arm with tight red fingernails.
Eleanor: We will fight this in court with our lawyers!
David: You will lose in court and face criminal charges too.
Mark took Sarah's hand and led her toward his car.
