The Fall From Above

The Dallas Heiress Saved From Falling Off Her Own Balcony

Sarah screamed loudly as she tipped over the marble balcony railing edge.

Her hands clawed at the air as she slipped past the stone border.

A framed American flag artwork hung brightly on the wall behind her.

Richard stepped back in utter shock, dropping the leather folder instantly.

Maria gasped down in the foyer, covering her open mouth in horror.

Sarah was falling fast through the open air toward the ground.

Mark recovered his balance on the upper steps in a single second.

He saw Sarah falling toward the hard white floor near the entrance.

Without a single thought for himself, Mark leaped down the steps.

He slid down the grand marble staircase with extreme and frantic speed.

His heavy dress shoes clicked loudly against each smooth step surface.

He sprinted across the bright high-key floor beneath the crystal chandelier.

The sub-bass pulse of his pounding heart drove him forward rapidly.

He extended his arms wide as he leaped across the wide room.

Sarah fell through the air with her arms outstretched in terror.

Mark slid onto his knees across the cold marble floor below.

He reached out his strong arms just as Sarah reached the bottom.

With a dramatic thud, Mark caught Sarah safely in mid-air.

The force of the catch knocked the wind out of Mark's chest.

He held her securely in a tight bridal carry on his knees.

The sound of the impact echoed through the vast open mansion.

Sarah lay trembling in his arms, hyperventilating with wide scared eyes.

Small freckles showed clearly across her pale and shaken cheeks.

Mark: I got you! Call 911 right now!

Maria ran frantically toward the hallway telephone on the side table.

Wealthy onlookers who were visiting stood at the upper railing in shock.

Richard stared down from above with a terrified and pale face.

Mark held Sarah close and looked up at Richard with intense rage.

His eyes burned with protective fury as he glared at the uncle.

Mark: This is not over!

Richard stumbled backward away from the railing and turned around quickly.

Victoria screamed in panic and ran toward the back exit doors.

Mark gently placed Sarah down on the soft rug near the sofa.

Mark: Stay right here Sarah, you are safe now.

Sarah: Mark... he tried to push me... he wanted me gone!

Mark: I know, and he is not getting away with this today.
