Confrontation At The Gate

The Maid Discovered A Hidden Will Inside The Dallas Mansion

Mark the security guard stood still in the middle of the room.

He had worked for the Vance family for over seven long years.

He knew Arthur Vance had been a very fair and kind man.

He also knew Mrs. Vance was often cruel to the house staff.

Mark: I think we should let the family lawyer handle this, ma'am.

Mrs. Vance: I pay your high salary every month, Mark, not her!

Mrs. Vance: Take that folder right now or you are fired as well!

Mark looked down at the young girl holding the blue file tight.

He saw the truth and determination in her tear filled eyes.

He made a quick decision that surprised everyone inside the room.

Mark: I will drive Claire to Mr. Harrison's legal office myself.

Mrs. Vance: You are making the biggest mistake of your life, Mark!

Claire felt a ray of light break through her dark cloud.

She followed Mark out of the large bedroom and down the stairs.

Mrs. Vance ran after them down the grand front staircase quickly.

She yelled at the top of her lungs for the staff.

Mrs. Vance: Lock the front gates immediately and call the local police!

Mark guided Claire through the kitchen door toward the back garage.

They got into the silver security SUV parked in the driveway.

Mark started the engine and it roared to life instantly today.

He pressed the gas pedal and drove toward the tall iron gates.

The heavy gates were slowly closing across the main paved driveway.

Mark sped up and drove through the gap just in time.

The side mirror brushed against the black metal with a noise.

They burst onto the main street of Dallas and drove away fast.

Claire looked back through the rear window at the huge mansion.

Mrs. Vance was standing on the driveway shaking her fists hard.

Claire: Thank you so much for believing in me, Mark.

Mark: Arthur Vance was a good man who cared about people.

Mark: He would want his true daughter to get what is right.

They drove through the busy city traffic toward the law office.

Claire opened the blue folder again to read the small details.

She saw a photo of her mother attached to the back page.

Her mother looked young and happy standing next to Arthur Vance.

They were standing right in front of the Dallas house garden.

Claire realized her mother had kept this secret to protect her.

Mrs. Vance had threatened her mother years ago to make her leave.

Now the truth was finally coming into the bright open sun.

She clutched the blue file tight as they pulled up downtown.
